We foster a sense of sisterhood and community in all we do, and love every family we serve!
As a group we have supported hundreds of births, undergone additional trainings, & each possess unique areas of wisdom. We are familiar with all the local midwives, birth centers, & birthing hospitals. While we provide personalized one-on-one support to our clients, you can find peace in knowing that The Circle is prepared to lend a helping hand in any circumstance.

Holeigh's journey into the realm of birth work commenced in 2020, deeply rooted in a life dedicated to nurturing others. As a mother to two spirited boys and a two-time surrogate, she has been immersed in the medical field since 2012, with a particular focus on infertility and obstetrics, before finding her true calling in the sacred space of birth. As a birth and postpartum doula, Holeigh imparts her wisdom in our Childbirth Education classes and stands as a pillar of support for her fellow doulas in The Circle, always there to lend her strength and guidance. Continuously striving to enhance her skills and knowledge, Holeigh is committed to supporting both her doulas and clients by pursuing ongoing education, ensuring she remains at the forefront of doula care and advocacy.

Lauren embarked on her sacred journey as a doula in 2013, her path illuminated by the diverse experiences of hospital, home, and birth center settings across six births. With a deep well of knowledge developed from supporting over 250 families in birth and postpartum, she guides expectant parents through our Breath & Body and Newborn Care classes, as well as new doula's through Mentorship program. As the Marketing & Outreach Coordinator at Beginnings Birth Center, Lauren is often the first warm welcome families encounter during their tours of the center.

Mara serves as our esteemed IBCLC and lead photographer, embarking on her doula work and lactation counseling journey in 2020, with a foundation solidly built on her extensive knowledge in psychology, child development, and education. Her commitment to maternal and infant health propelled her to achieve her IBCLC certification from the University of San Diego in 2022. Mara not only teaches our breastfeeding class and operates The Milky Minute, but also extends her expertise through consultation services at Newma Wellness during the week. Within her blended family of five, Mara homeschools her two youngest daughters, reflecting her dedication to family and education in both her professional and personal life.

Ashleigh embraced her calling as a doula in 2023, following a dream since childhood. Mother to two boys, her journey into doula work was further inspired by her own children, including supporting the birth of her second son. Ashleigh is our main postpartum doula and Bengkung belly binder practitioner. When she's not offering her holistic services, you might find her at Enso Prenatal performing ultrasounds or in her kitchen, curating a new loaf of Sourdough.

Erika's journey to birth work is marked by a blend of dedication and personal transformation, transitioning from over a decade in the Air Force to the transformative experience of motherhood with her son. This pivotal moment led her to pursue birth work, enriched by 1.5 years as a student midwife. Erika certified as an Herbalist in 2023 and supports our clients from preconception through postpartum with customized recommendations and protocols. In addition to her expertise in herbalism, Erika is a skilled placenta specialist, Womb Steam, and Mami Sealing (Closing of the Bones) practitioner, blending ancient traditions with contemporary insights to nurture the complex journey of motherhood
