As a group we have 45 years of experience combined and have supported thousands of births, undergone additional trainings, & each possess unique areas of wisdom. We are familiar with all the local midwives, birth centers, & birthing hospitals. While we provide personalized one-on-one support to our clients, you can find peace in knowing that The Circle is prepared to lend a helping hand in any circumstance.

Holeigh’s journey into the sacred world of birth work began in 2012, when she became a mother and discovered the transformative power of pregnancy and birth. Her own birth experiences, walking the path of surrogacy twice, and her work in maternal healthcare and fertility deepened her connection to the magic of bringing life into the world. She has witnessed and experienced firsthand the beauty and challenges of this journey.
As a birthkeeper, Holeigh honors each family’s unique story. She serves as both a birth and postpartum doula, Childbirth Educator, and guide to her fellow doulas in The Circle. Constantly expanding her knowledge, Holeigh ensures she provides the highest level of care and advocacy to the families she supports. Her dedication to this sacred work is rooted in a deep desire to empower and uplift, creating a space where families feel seen, heard, and held.

Lauren embarked on her sacred journey as a doula in 2013, her path illuminated by the rich and varied experiences of supporting births in hospitals, homes, and birth centers, walking alongside more than 500 families through the sacred thresholds of birth and postpartum. Her love for this work is intertwined with her own story — six births of her own, in every birth setting: the quiet sanctuary of home, the bright hum of the hospital, and the warm embrace of Beginnings Birth Center. Twice, she has carried as a surrogate, guiding new life to other families, Now, as Marketing & Outreach Coordinator at Beginnings, Lauren’s warmth radiates through every connection she makes, nurturing a sense of welcome and belonging. To the doulas of the region, she is a steadfast sounding board, a guiding light, and one of the hearts who has helped shape the doula community into what it is today.

Mara is our esteemed IBCLC and lead photographer, bringing a unique blend of clinical expertise and heartfelt artistry to her work. She began her doula and lactation counseling journey in 2020, building on a strong foundation of knowledge in psychology, child development, and education. Her deep commitment to maternal and infant health led her to achieve her IBCLC certification from the University of San Diego in 2022. Mara is incredibly passionate about empowering families through informed, compassionate care. Mara shares her wisdom through our breastfeeding classes and offers personalized lactation consultations, meeting families wherever they are with warmth, understanding, and practical guidance. Beyond her professional life, she embraces her role in a blended family of five, homeschooling her two youngest daughters and infusing her days with exploration, homesteading, and creativity in both family life and work.

After more than a decade of service in the Air Force, Erika's life shifted profoundly with the arrival of her son, awakening a deep calling toward the sacred work of birth and motherhood. This transformative experience led her to immerse herself in birth work, enriched by a year and a half of study as a student midwife. In 2023, Erika earned her certification as an Herbalist, bringing a wealth of knowledge and heart to support our clients from preconception through postpartum with personalized, nurturing recommendations and protocols.
Beyond her expertise in herbalism, Erika is a gifted placenta specialist and practitioner of Womb Steam and Mami Sealing (Closing of the Bones), seamlessly blending ancient healing traditions with modern understanding. Ashleigh embraced her calling as a doula in 2023, following a lifelong dream that began in her childhood. As a mother to two boys, her journey into birth work was deeply inspired by her own experiences, particularly supporting the birth of her second son. This transformative path led her to pursue doula work, where she brings a deep sense of care and compassion to the families she serves. Ashleigh is a Postpartum Doula, Educator, Bengkung Belly Binder Practitioner, and Placenta Encapsulator.
Ashleigh is currently a student midwife, and will one day offer holistic home birth services to growing families. When she's not immersed in her studies or supporting families, you can find her in the kitchen, crafting the perfect loaf of sourdough.

Ryley’s journey into birth work began shortly after graduating high school. While supporting survivors of sexual and intimate-partner violence through their healing journeys, she found herself on a transformative path—pregnant back-to-back and stepping fully into the sacred role of motherhood. As she embraced the rhythms of motherhood, her calling to support and hold space for other mamas grew undeniable, leading her to become a birth keeper. Deeply connected to the earth, she nurtures her relationship with nature, honoring its cycles and cherishing its gifts. As an herbalist and apprentice master gardener, she incorporates nature’s wisdom into her work. Her ultimate dream is to become a homebirth midwife, building flourishing communities where families thrive.

Brittany first fell in love with birth through her experiences of welcoming her own children into the world. As a mother of four, with three of her children born at home, Brittany’s path into birth work ignited a deep passion for supporting others in their childbirth experiences. Witnessing the strength and beauty of birthing people further solidified her commitment to this work. She began supporting families as a doula in 2017. She is a fierce believer in informed consent, body autonomy, inclusiveness, and evidence-based care.
Brittany is also a student midwife; she began her midwifery apprenticeship in August of 2024. Outside of birthwork, Brittany loves camping with her children, spending quality time with friends, and exploring new hobbies. Brittany’s blend of personal and professional experience makes her a compassionate and driven doula dedicated to supporting families through their unique paths through pregnancy, birth, and parenthood.
